As my tour of duty as Consul General in Miami now has been completed, and my wife and I will depart from Miami the 30th of June 1999, I want to express our deepest thanks for the fine relationship we have had with you.

Your services to our office as market research consultants with " Development of Norwegian exports to Florida", focusing on Specialty Food Products ( April 1995), As member/officer of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Advisory Council to the Consulate General has been of high value to me, and my office. Likewise, your assistance to various Norwegian companies moving, or considering to move to South Florida has given results.

My office and The Norwegian Community in general has benefited greatly from your impressive ability to open doors and establish contact with interesting people in the muticultural environment in Miami. Not least, was this demonstrated in February 1997, when the Norwegian Ambassador to the USA, Tom Vraalsen, visited South East Florida for a 3-day information campaign.
